Candidate Attorney

Joining the Moloto Weiss Attorneys team in January 2025, Gomolemo Leeuw brings a unique combination of legal acumen, psychological insight and a passion for social justice. With a Bachelor of Arts in Law with Psychology and an LLB degree from North-West University, she embodies the firm’s dedication to excellence and forward-thinking legal practice.

During her academic journey, Gomolemo was recognised for her outstanding performance, earning membership in the Golden Key International Honour Society and receiving a Certificate of Merit for maintaining a high academic standard. Her completion of a Short Course Mediation Training Certificate further underscores her dedication to conflict resolution and equitable outcomes.

Her practical legal experience includes working as a legal intern at the North-West University Law Clinic, where she gained hands-on exposure to mediation, civil litigation and community outreach. She also worked at the Small Claims Court, specialising in family law matters, including children’s rights and child maintenance. These roles have shaped her empathetic approach and commitment to serving the needs of marginalised communities.

Guided by a philosophy rooted in fairness, ethical representation and access to justice, Gomolemo is driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable individuals. Her bilingual abilities enable her to bridge language gaps during client consultations, ensuring effective communication and understanding.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Gomolemo is a creative and adventurous individual. She enjoys painting, a passion developed during her high school years, and seeks out inspiration through outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking and attending vibrant social markets. Her love for travel and learning new languages complements her professional aspirations, broadening her cultural perspectives.

Looking to the future, Gomolemo is committed to becoming an admitted attorney and pursuing a master’s degree to deepen her expertise. She also envisions herself taking on leadership roles within the firm, contributing to mentorship programmes, and expanding her knowledge into various practice areas.
